How we can help

  • Registered Massage Therapy

Hands-on treatment at whatever spacing suits you, with an assessment at the first visit and a check-in at each one after. You direct the pressure throughout.

  • Naturopathic Medicine

A long appointment covering history, diet, sleep and what you have already tried, then a plan you agree together. Available in person and online.

Our approach

How Blossom approaches general wellness

Nobody here is required to keep you in their own discipline. If a longer naturopathic conversation would serve you better than another massage, you will be told.

  1. Listen

What is going on, how long it has been going on, what you have already tried, and what you need to get back to.

  2. Assess

The first appointment in any discipline here begins with an assessment before any treatment is proposed.

  3. Plan across disciplines

You are told what is proposed before anything begins, and you decide. If another route would serve you better, we say so.

Practicalities

Your first appointment

  1. Book

Choose a time in Jane, or send an inquiry from the homepage if you want to describe it in a sentence first. No referral is needed to book with us.

  2. What to wear

Comfortable clothing you can move in is best. Your practitioner will share any specific guidance for your appointment when you book.

  3. Assessment, then treatment

Most initial appointments include an assessment followed by treatment or an appropriate therapeutic intervention. Your practitioner will explain the process and tailor the appointment to your needs and goals.

  4. Receipts

We provide receipts for eligible regulated services that you can submit to your extended-health provider. Direct billing is not currently available.

If you need to change it

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the treatment fee. Please let us know as early as possible if you are unwell or have an emergency.

Safety

When we are not the right first stop

Please speak to a physician or go to urgent care first if any of these apply. We would rather send you to the right place than take the appointment.

Please get medical advice before booking if

  • You have new, undiagnosed or rapidly changing symptoms
  • You have had recent surgery or an acute injury that has not been assessed
  • You have a history of blood clots or a clotting disorder
  • You are pregnant, so we can plan positioning with you
  • You have a skin condition or infection in the area
  • You feel unwell alongside it — fever, chills or unexplained weight loss

If any of these apply, contact your physician or go to your nearest emergency department. In an emergency call 9-1-1. Do not wait for a reply from us.

Questions

Questions about wellness appointments

Do I need a reason to book a massage?
No. Plenty of people book simply because an hour of unhurried, quiet, hands-on care is worth having on its own. Your therapist will still do a short assessment at the first visit, because that is how the appointment works.
How often should I come?
That depends on why you are coming and how you respond. Your practitioner will suggest a realistic spacing after your first visit. We do not sell fixed courses or packages.
Do I need a referral?
Not to book with us. Some extended-health plans require a referral before they will reimburse, so it is worth checking your own plan first.
Will my insurance cover this?
Each discipline is usually a separate category on an extended-health plan, and some plans cover one and not another. We do not offer direct billing — we provide receipts you submit yourself. Please confirm the details with your own plan.
Can I have more than one kind of appointment?
Yes, and plenty of people do. Tell each practitioner what else you are having so they can plan around it.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online any time through our Jane booking system, or send us a message with the inquiry form on the homepage. The Book buttons on this page open the matching appointment type in Jane directly.
Is there parking at the clinic?
Blossom Wellness Clinic is at 20 Dawson Rd, Unit 6, Orangeville, Ontario, L9W 2W3. Free parking is available directly outside the clinic.
