In short

Summary

Registered Massage Therapy at Blossom Wellness Clinic in Orangeville, Ontario. Every session begins with a short assessment, so the treatment is built around your body and what you came in for — recovery, everyday tension, or simply keeping yourself moving well. Provided by a Registered Massage Therapist, with receipts for your extended-health plan.

The treatment

What happens in a massage therapy session?

Massage therapy is hands-on treatment of muscle and soft tissue, provided by a therapist registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. It starts with a conversation about your health history and what brought you in, followed by an assessment of how you move.

From there your therapist proposes a plan and explains it before anything begins. Techniques are chosen to suit you and adjusted as the session goes on — pressure is always yours to direct. You are draped throughout, and only the area being treated is uncovered.

Choosing

Which massage appointment fits what you are looking for?

Registered Massage Therapy is the profession; these are different appointment types within it, not three separate regulated professions. All are provided by a Registered Massage Therapist, all begin with a conversation about what you want from the session, and all are billed the same way. They differ in technique and in how the session feels, not in how strong they are.

Still deciding? Send us a question and describe it in a sentence — we would rather point you to the right appointment than have you book the wrong one.

Questions

Registered Massage Therapy questions

How much does massage therapy cost in Orangeville?
At Blossom Wellness Clinic, Registered Massage Therapy is from $105 for 45 min to $175 for 90 min, across 4 appointment types. Our booking page states that prices for massage therapy treatments are not inclusive of taxes.
Do I have to undress?
Only to the level you are comfortable with. You are draped with sheets throughout, and only the area being worked on is uncovered. Plenty of people are treated fully clothed, and your therapist will work with whatever you prefer.
How is this different from your signature treatments?
Registered Massage Therapy is the general, assessment-led treatment. The signature treatments — Buccals , Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, Abhyanga — are specific techniques with their own focus. If you are not sure which you want, book massage therapy and your therapist will guide you.
Is it covered by my benefits?
It is provided and billed as massage therapy by a Registered Massage Therapist, so it may be eligible under your massage therapy benefits. We do not offer direct billing; we provide receipts you can submit to your extended-health provider. Coverage varies by plan, so please confirm with yours.
How often should I come?
That depends on why you are coming and how you respond. Your practitioner will suggest a realistic spacing after your first visit. We do not promise a fixed schedule or a guaranteed result.
Do you offer direct billing?
No. The clinic does not provide direct billing. We provide receipts you can submit to your extended-health provider yourself.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online any time through our Jane booking system, or send us a message with the inquiry form on the homepage. The Book buttons on this page open massage therapy in Jane directly.
Is there parking at the clinic?
Blossom Wellness Clinic is at 20 Dawson Rd, Unit 6, Orangeville, Ontario, L9W 2W3. Free parking is available directly outside the clinic.
