TMJ / TMJD treatment at Blossom Wellness Clinic in Orangeville, Ontario. The TMJ is the temporomandibular joint — the hinge in front of your ear that opens and closes your jaw. TMD (or TMJD) refers to the disorders that affect that joint and the muscles around it. Two professions here treat it, and they are booked and billed separately.
TMJ stands for the temporomandibular joint itself. TMD, sometimes written TMJD, is the umbrella term for disorders affecting that joint, the chewing muscles or both — which is why people often say they “have TMJ” when they mean they have symptoms coming from it.
Care here starts with assessment: what you are experiencing, how the jaw moves, and what is contributing. Treatment may include work on the muscles around the jaw and neck, and intra-oral techniques where appropriate and agreed. Intra-oral work is always optional and explained before it begins.
Our booking page states that both routes are available: massage therapy with Kamalpreet Kandhola, and physiotherapy with Navjot Kaur, who offers TMJ/TMJD treatment including intraoral and extraoral techniques.
Jaw care at Blossom is provided through more than one profession. They are booked, billed and claimed separately, and none is a lesser version of another — which one suits you depends on what you want from the appointment.
With Navjot Kaur, Physiotherapist. Our booking page states she offers TMJ/TMJD treatment including intraoral and extraoral techniques. Initial visit 45 min, $120; follow-ups 30 min $90 or 45 min $120. Receipted as physiotherapy.
With Kamalpreet Kandhola, RMT. A dedicated facial and intra-oral appointment including a mask, 60–90 min, $175–$210. Receipted as massage therapy.
Our acupuncture listing includes a TMJ appointment with Yaser Najafian, R.Ac. That is a third route, booked and receipted separately again.

Some people also notice headache, ear or facial symptoms alongside jaw problems. These have several possible causes, so they are assessed rather than assumed to come from the jaw.
